Description

A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish that combines creamy garlic sauce with tender pasta for a delightful weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add 8 oz of pasta along with 2 cups of milk to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. After the pasta is cooked, stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
