- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add 8 oz of pasta along with 2 cups of milk to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens, about 10-12 minutes.
- After the pasta is cooked, stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
