- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with ½ cup of granulated sugar, and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining ½ cup of sugar.
- Pour in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
- Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the strawberries and their juices over the batter.
- Scatter the cubed cream cheese evenly across the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and the strawberries bubble.
- Let the cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving.
