- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onions and bell peppers, and sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced steak. Cook until browned (3 to 5 minutes).
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes to meld flavors.
- Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the shredded provolone cheese until melted and well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
