Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onions and bell peppers, and sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced steak. Cook until browned (3 to 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Add the shredded provolone cheese until melted and well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
