Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, served in a bowl with beef, caramelized onions, peppers, and provolone cheese over a bed of rice or quinoa.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Toss in the sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve the beef and vegetable mixture over cooked rice or quinoa.
  5. Top with slices of provolone cheese and allow to melt before serving.
