Description

A delightful bowl meal combining tender sirloin steak, sautéed vegetables, and gooey mozzarella cheese inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cauliflower rice or whole grain rice (for serving)
  • Your favorite toppings (e.g., jalapeños, parsley, hot sauce)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  2. Add the sliced sirloin steak and season it generously with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until vegetables are tender, around 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Cover the skillet to let the cheese melt.
  5. Serve the mixture over cauliflower rice or whole grain rice and customize with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
