Description

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a pan with garlic, salt, pepper, and basil.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the meat and stir to combine.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles and top with a layer of mozzarella.
  8. Add another layer of meat sauce, then repeat the layers two more times.
  9. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
