Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pretzel crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and pretzel crumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat with pretzel crumbs.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish.
  7. Mix the mustard and shredded cheddar cheese in a separate bowl.
  8. Pour the mustard-cheddar sauce over the fried chicken.
  9. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked through.
