Description

A delicious and easy Chow Mein perfect for busy weeknights, customizable with your favorite vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are crisp-tender.
  5. Stir in the cooked noodles and soy sauce, tossing to combine.
  6. If using, drizzle with sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
