Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 200g minced beef
- 100g minced pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 100ml red wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion, and sauté until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Incorporate the minced beef and minced pork, cooking until browned.
- Stir in diced carrot and celery, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in the red wine and let it reduce.
- Add canned tomatoes and tomato paste; season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the sauce over the spaghetti, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer. Serve with grated Parmesan on top.
