- 4 pieces Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packet Onion soup mix
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Sear the chicken: Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, to the skillet. Sear for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and water. Stir until well blended.
- Combine and cook: Transfer the chicken to a slow cooker or leave in the skillet. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Finish and garnish: Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
