Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake

Description

A delightful dish combining shrimp, garlic, and pasta, baked to perfection with cheesy goodness.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti or your favorite pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  5. Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  7. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shrimp mixture, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  8. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and all of the mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top. Pairs well with green salad or garlic bread.
