- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the sourdough discard with warm water, sugar, and salt.
- Add flour and baking soda gradually until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Place the pretzel bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
