Description

Delicious pancakes inspired by churros, featuring a crispy outside, soft inside, and a sweet cinnamon sugar topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Remove the pancakes from the skillet and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while warm.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter, serve warm and enjoy!
