- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

- 1/2 cup gold sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and line your cupcake tin with paper liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Mix in the green food coloring until you reach your desired shade.
- Scoop the batter into the lined cupcake tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar for the frosting.
- Add milk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring; mix until fluffy.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes and top with gold sprinkles.
Notes
Keep leftover cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze un-frosted ones for up to three months.
