Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or your choice)
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Boil the pasta in a separate pot according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Once the sausage is browned, add the honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  6. Drain the pasta and toss it in the skillet with the sausage and sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with chopped green onions.
