Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (15 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish to keep everything from sticking.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the greased baking dish.
  5. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  6. Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the cream cheese layer.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter and milk evenly over the cake mix.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Once baked, let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
