- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (canned or fresh)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them.
- Add the pineapple chunks on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months.
