- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker and pour the soy sauce mixture over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and use two forks to shred it into bite-sized pieces.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions for an added pop of color and freshness.
