Description

Ingredients

  • 12 manicotti noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, for topping
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the manicotti noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them well and set them aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each manicotti noodle with the cheese mixture. Don’t worry if it gets a bit messy—that’s all part of the fun!
  5. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce at the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the filled manicotti in the dish and cover them generously with the remaining spaghetti sauce.
  7. Top it all off with additional shredded mozzarella cheese for that ultimate melty goodness.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. You might want to keep an eye on it to avoid over-browning.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This brief pause allows the cheese to set just right!
