- 1.25 cups Ditalini Pasta
- 2 cups Chicken Broth (or vegetable broth for vegetarian)
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 cups Parmesan Cheese
- 0.25 cups Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Salted Butter
- Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a medium pot of water to a boil, add salt, and cook Ditalini pasta until al dente, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
- Sauté the Garlic: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add garlic paste, and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Add the Broth: Pour in chicken broth and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the Cream: Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese, stirring until combined. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Combine the Pasta: Toss cooked Ditalini into the skillet, ensuring it’s well-coated with the creamy sauce.
- Finish it Off: Stir in the butter until melted, and sprinkle more Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve: Top with fresh parsley before serving.
