Description

A rich and creamy Chicken Alfredo that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners or quiet evenings at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing into strips.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and let it bubble lightly. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated.
  6. Return the sliced chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked fettuccine and toss everything together, coating the pasta in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Pair with a green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
