Description
A rich and creamy Chicken Alfredo that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners or quiet evenings at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing into strips.
- Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and let it bubble lightly. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated.
- Return the sliced chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked fettuccine and toss everything together, coating the pasta in the creamy sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Pair with a green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
