- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)

Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until blended.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until no dry spots remain. A few lumps are okay!
- Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat. A drop of water should dance on the surface when it’s ready.
- Grease the skillet lightly with melted butter or non-stick spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form and edges look set, around 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and keep warm while repeating with remaining batter.
- Serve pancakes warm with your favorite toppings!
Notes
For fluffy pancakes, avoid overmixing the batter. Customize with add-ins like berries or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
