Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Bang Bang Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Soak the shrimp in the buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix the panko breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dredge the shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried shrimp with Bang Bang sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with extra Bang Bang sauce for dipping and garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
