Description

Delicious and nutritious Breakfast Protein Biscuits, packed with protein and fiber, perfect for a snack or breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled turkey sausage or bacon
  • 1/4 cup milk or milk alternative
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine both the whole wheat flour and almond flour, along with the baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add in the grated cheese, Greek yogurt, crumbled sausage or bacon, milk, and egg.
  4. Mix until a dough forms, ensuring not to overmix.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These biscuits can be served with butter or avocado for added creaminess. They store well in the fridge for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to three months.
