Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 tube of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: spices like garlic powder, paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s browned. Add the onion and bell pepper, cooking until both are soft. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices.
  4. Pour the beef mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheese, then layer the biscuit dough over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
