Description

A quick and healthy dish featuring tender chicken and crisp broccoli enveloped in a delightful soy sauce glaze, perfect for family dinners or busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the sliced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes, or until they become tender but still crisp.
  5. Pour the soy sauce over the chicken and broccoli, then toss everything to combine and heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the broccoli and consider making extra sauce for serving with rice.
