Description

A comforting and creamy dish combining chicken, cheesy tortellini, garlic, and fresh spinach, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 400 g tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 pieces chicken breast (about 500 g), diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 150 g spinach (fresh)
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring everything to a simmer.
  6. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually around 2-4 minutes for fresh or longer for frozen.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and creates a creamy consistency.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the dish hot, and enjoy!

Notes
