Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sheets of aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together the ground beef, adding a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut the foil into squares large enough to create packets for your burgers, about 12×12 inches.
- Take a portion of the seasoned beef and place it in the center of each foil square, pressing it down gently to form a patty.
- Pile on the sliced mushrooms and onions on top of each patty.
- Add a slice of Swiss cheese right on top of the veggies.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the top.
- Fold the foil over the filling to create a sealed packet.
- Place the packets on the grill or into the oven and cook for about 20-25 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.
- Carefully open the packets and serve your delicious burgers hot!
