Description

Delicious Greek turkey meatballs paired with a refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for a crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki by combining the Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm, alongside a generous scoop of tzatziki sauce.

Notes

These meatballs are great served with warm pita bread or over rice. They also freeze well for longer storage.
