Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. When it’s bubbly and fragrant, add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook until soft, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Toss in the diced chicken and cook until there’s no pink left, around 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, heavy cream, garam masala, cumin, and paprika. Mix everything well until combined.
  4. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro just before serving.

Notes

Serve with fluffy rice or warm naan. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
