Instructions
- Cook the rice: Begin by cooking the jasmine rice according to the package instructions, which usually takes about 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the asparagus: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on a baking sheet. Roast for 12-15 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, season the chicken pieces, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the sauce: Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, water, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl, then pour over the cooked chicken and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Combine everything: Add the roasted asparagus to the skillet and stir together gently.
