- 8 oz Egg Noodles
- 2 cups Cooked Chicken, Shredded
- 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- 1 cup Diced Carrots
- 0.5 cup Finely Chopped Onion
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Crushed Butter Crackers or Breadcrumbs
- 0.25 cup Melted Butter
- 0.25 cup Chopped Parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the cooked noodles, peas, diced carrots, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; stir until everything is well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, crushed butter crackers, and drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake another 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and use whole wheat noodles. You can also add extra veggies like spinach for added nutrition.
