Description

This Korean Chicken Breasts recipe features a sweet and savory marinade that transforms simple chicken into a spectacular dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice (for serving)
  • Steamed vegetables (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side or bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through and juices run clear.
  5. Serve the grilled or baked chicken with steamed rice and vegetables. Enjoy!

Notes

For a bit of spice, consider adding red pepper flakes to the marinade. Feel free to substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs or firm tofu.
