Description

Tantalizing chicken skewers marinated in yogurt and spices, perfect for any casual dinner or family gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through, or bake for 20-25 minutes flipping halfway.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor and check for doneness with a meat thermometer.
