Ingredients

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Cooking spray or additional butter for the skillet
- Syrup and fruits for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; the batter may be slightly lumpy.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes more.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve warm with syrup and your favorite fruits.
