Ingredients

- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
- ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower)
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix everything together until well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture into the lined baking pan and flatten it into an even layer.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and the bars look set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
